I posted that one in the comments after everyone raked me over the coals for the SBC swapped Celica. I think the 3rd gen FI cars are great, but the price for that one is pretty high.

I looked so hard for a good GT-S... I would love drive this to see *how* much better it is, but I do know the seats are better and certainly that blue interior is better than my striped of brown.

I hope you don’t feel like you were raked over coals too much. My “I don’t like this” comment doesn’t come from me being a brute loyalist; I just like my old crappy cars to be as stock as possible.

Seeing a 22re in a Celica is always odd for some reason. I'm so used to them in all manner of 4x4's, and it's fantastic engine so of course the put it in whatever they could, but seeing the distinctive valve cover in other places is...different.
